FaceFood: Plant makeup

First off, I just wanted to say the I love the packaging that Plant Makeup uses, it is so simple and cute. FaceFood is an all natural, GMO-free, handmade clay mask. This clay mask is suitable for all skin types, especially for oily and blemished skin. Upon opening the lid I was hit with a very strong basil scent. I am not the biggest fan of the basil smell it is a bit overpowering for me. upon the smell, the consistency of this mask is very thick and quite sticky. Since the thick and sticky consistency, I used a face brush to apply the facemask. Once I started applying the mask I found it best to apply it in sections. since I used a face brush it was easy to apply and spread it around. After I applied the mask evenly all over my face I left it one for about 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes where up I got a damp washcloth and removed the mask, it was very easy to remove the mask. Unlike some clay mask the get a little messy once you remove them this one is not like that. After I got the mask completely removed my skin did feel a little sticky afterward and the could be from the honey that is in the mask, a damp washcloth easily fixed that and my face felt very soft and smooth and a bit tighter. Overall I really like how this mask left my face feeling, and if you don't have a face mask brush I would recommend getting one because I can see it getting messy applying it with your hands. The only thing negative that I didn't like about this facefood mask the strong basil scent and that could be from the basil essential oil that is used.
