FaceFood: Plant makeup

Image
First off, I just wanted to say the I love the packaging that Plant Makeup uses, it is so simple and cute. FaceFood is an all natural, GMO-free, handmade clay mask. This clay mask is suitable for all skin types, especially for oily and blemished skin. Upon opening the lid I was hit with a very strong basil scent. I am not the biggest fan of the basil smell it is a bit overpowering for me. upon the smell, the consistency of this mask is very thick and quite sticky. Since the thick and sticky consistency, I used a face brush to apply the facemask. Once I started applying the mask I found it best to apply it in sections. since I used a face brush it was easy to apply and spread it around. After I applied the mask evenly all over my face I left it one for about 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes where up I got a damp washcloth and removed the mask, it was very easy to remove the mask. Unlike some clay mask the get a little messy once you remove them this one is not like that. After I got th

Aphrodite Palette: Bad Habit

This palette is one of my favorite. The design and the quality of this palette are very well made and have a nice weight to it. All of the colors are soft, pigmented, easy to blend and buildable, some of the shimmers seemed like they were a little softer than the others, but that didn't bother me. When using the shimmers I always wet the brush, to get more a brighter look. One thing that I did notice is that once you pick up and you get a lot of pigment on your bush and you do need to tap the excess powder off or there will be some fallout, as well as in the pan but nothing overwhelming. Another thing that I like about this palette is that it has the ingredient list on the back and that it is cruelty-free and has a 12-month shelf life. I do know that a lot of people are saying this is a dupe for the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette from comparing pictures I can definitely see that it is, I don't have the Huda beauty palette myself so I cant compare them side by side. I would defi

Athena pallete: Bad Habit

This palette has a good heavy weight, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. The design of the palette is nice. Another thing that I liked about the design of the palette is the It has a big mirror. This palette is cruelty-free and has a 12-month shelf life. On to the actually shadows now. They were very pigmented and soft when swatched with the finger and brush. They also blended out very well. I did notice that on some of the colors in the palette there was a bit of fall out and if you didn’t tap the brush off. So I would recommend putting some powder under the eyes or doing your eyes first. Also with darling the red glitter I found it best to put some concealer down than to put the color down. I did have to build it up to get it how it wanted it. Also with the shade darling, I found that since it is very soft, with just one use it became very indented and looks like I might hit pan soon. Lastly with this color, once you take it off you will have glitter all over your face. Lastly, the thing

Ultra Smooth Eyeshadow Palette: Just Kolour

Image
This palette comes with 30 shades ranging from a smokey eye to more of a natural eye look with a pop of color. upon swatching the eyeshadows they were very pigmented on my fingers but when I swatched them on my arm some were dull and not pigmented at all while other shadows had a bit more pigment. I ended up swatching them again except this time I used a packer bush, cleaning it off for every time and I got a little bit more pigmentation but not much, I decided to wet the brush with some setting spray and that is when I got the most pigmentation out of the majority of the colors. There where still a few that were dull, but with these shadows, you can easily build them up. I do realize that when you swatch on the arm it is different from applying it on the eyelid. Upon applying them to the lid I found them to be quite chalky/ powdery in the pan with little to no pigment. I will say that they did blend out pretty decent. I am fairly new to the makeup scene. Then with the shimmers, once

The Roanoke Girls: Amy Engel

The Roanoke Girls is written by Amy Engel. With this book, I couldn't get into it, even after reading a few different chapters I just couldn't get myself to read anymore. Maybe it was the style or how it was written, I'm not sure but it just wasn't getting my interest which is a bummer because the description of the book seemed so great. I might give it a chance on Audible to see if I can get into it that way but from just reading it, it wasn't for me. If you would like to check it out yourself here is the link: The Roanoke Girls "I did receive this book at a discount price in exchange for my honest and unbaised review, all my reviews are my 100% honest opinion."

Lavany Ladys Electric Shaver

Image
I'm just gonna start off by saying that I am truly impressed by this razor.  I will admit that there are a few things that I didn't like but I will get into that later.  the first thing that I liked about the shaver is how easy it is to use. it is perfect for when you're on the go and noticed you missed a spot while shaving, with this razor it is so easy to take care of those spots you missed. the second I like about it is how quiet it is. there is humming sound coming from it but nothing that is unbearable. the third thing that I liked is how gently it is. it doesn't even feel like its shaving at all. I first tested it out on my arm to see how well it would do and I was very impressed. I found that the best way to use it is small circular motions will do the job. it has been a week since I shaved my arm with it and the hair is just now starting to become that pokey annoying stubble. I could easily go another week before shaving it again. I also tried it out on my face
